Join us for this kick-off celebration for the 2008 Earth Day season of events!

This Saturday, March 8 we'll have a wonderful gathering of 'green' activists, businesses and organizations based in Sacramento and working at the local, regional and state levels to make our community and region truly sustainable.

We'll be gathering at 9onF (1419 F Street), the site of the first LEED-certified residential project in Sacramento's urban core (LEED stands for "Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design"), for a day of information, food, music and touring / site-visits to discuss the best in building and neighborhood design, community advocacy, and Sacramento planning and land use issues.

Participating organizations and businesses: 9onF, ECOS, US Green Building Council, GreenSacramento, Alchemist, Midtown Grid, City of Sacramento Development Services, SMUD and Environment California.
