LEWIS, Richard John
Richard Lewis, a man of no small opinions, passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2008. He was born in Sacramento on July 26, 1949, to Ellen and John Lewis. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Sabin; his wonderful godson Hunter, and Hunter's parents Sue and Ed Straine; his sister Loretta and her husband Les; and a wealth of friends who will miss his sharp wit and kind spirit. Rich was an accomplished CFO and accountant, an airplane pilot, computer geek, wine lover, movie buff and an avid reader, with an entrepreneurial enthusiasm about life. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, at NICOLETTI, CUJIS & HERBERGER FUNERAL HOME, 5401 Folsom Boulevard, Sacramento. In keeping with Rich's wishes, a party will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Rich's name to Happy Tails, P.O. Box 161994, Sacramento, CA 95816.
