In front of the Sacramento Federal Building & Courthouse (5th & I St.)
Wednesday, 22 Feb 2006, 6:00 PM

We will gather on the sidewalk in front of the Federal Courthouse for a reading of the Bill of Rights.

Message from Don Tosaw: We will start to gather on the sidewalk on "I" Street about 5:45 PM, rain or shine. I will have a couple of candles lit and encourage those attending to bring candles as well. Don't forget a lighter. If it rains, bring your umbrella. If it's clear, you might want to wear mosquito repellent, as the mosquitoes are already active. Remember, if there is a large turnout, we must leave a right-of-way for pedestrians.

Update & Additional Info
We will start to gather on the sidewalk on "I" Street, near the corner of 5th & I about 5:45 PM. I will have a couple of candles lit and encourage those attending to bring candles as well. Don't forget a lighter. I also encourage everyone to bring one of the 8½x11" signs available one the materials page: http://political.moveon.org/breakingthelaw/materials.html
These make great hand-held signs when printed out on card stock. If you can bring an extra candle or sign to share, it would be much appreciated. If you make your own signs, I recommend a short simple message directly related to Bush's illegal domestic spying program.

The weather is expected to be clear and thanks to the recent cold weather, mosquitoes shouldn't be an issue. A lot of folks have signed up, so we need to be aware of the need to leave a right-of-way for pedestrians passing by on the sidewalk. Thanks for signing up. I look forward to seeing you there!
