The Labor Council for Latin American Advancement
(LCLAA) Sacramento invites you to participate in the Cesar Chavez March
“California Communities for Working Families”
Saturday, March 25, 2006, 10 a.m.

This community event celebrating the life and La Causa of the great leader, begins with a march assembling at the ILWU Longshoremens Hall Local 17, 600 4th Street, West Sacramento, at 10 a.m. The March will then go to the West Sacramento City Hall West Capitol Blvd. From there, the procession will head toward Sacramento by crossing the Tower Bridge. The March will proceed to Cesar Chavez Park at 10th and J streets for the public rally that starts at 12 noon.

March with many others, bring your group and banner, or signs and posters! Festivities at the special fun-event include music, food, guest speakers, poets, and a rally for the whole family.

Free Regional Transit bus and light rail tickets will be distributed so you can park your vehicle near the assembly area or at Cesar Chavez Park. More information to follow.
