Walking For Angelides
Mr. Fong,

Phil Angelides is not a progressive candidate. He does not care about the environment nor does he care about working people. He only cares about his rich friends, i.e., developers, Wall Street executives, and Silicon Valley CEOS. First, Angelo Tsakpoulos has corrupted our political process through massive campaign graft, (2.) Angelides was deemed the worst abuser of pay-to-play municipal bond deals by taking tremendous kick-backs from Wall Street financiers, and (3.) last he supported Silicon Valley CEOs and venture capitalists over unions, working people, and IRA/401K investors in the battle to get company's to expense stock options. I can go on and on about this. He publicly exoriated ex-SEC Chairman Arthur Levitt in a public forum. You do a grave dis-service to our organization, Sacramento for Democracy, by supporting this corrupt, bereft of morals and ethics, and coporate crony politician.

He is not our type of candidate in any way shape or form. He has acted as the Tom Delay bag man for the Democratic Party of California for years. Our group must maintain a high standard for candidates and maintain our trust with the public as a sound, reliable, and honest purveyor of information. Reputations are like glass and fine china, they break easy and don't mend well. If a candidate doesn't come before our group in an open town hall fashion -- a Harry Taylor moment -- to face direct questions, we should not formally or informally give them support.

Regards,

Andrew H. Dral "The Rabble -- Janosik"
