Do NOT wear Kerry gear (tshirts, hats, etc) when you go to vote.
From Democratic Underground (www.democraticunderground.com:

it is against voting regulations and poll workers have been instructed to enforce this rule! This rule applies in MOST if not ALL states. The boundaries vary from state to state but please check with your election commission before doing this. It would be sad to wait in line for hours to vote only to be turned away when you get within the allowed boundary. Please help spread this information!

Phone Bankers Needed
From the downtowm Democratic HQ:

We are now calling permanent absentee voters in selected precincts to remind them to vote for Kerry, Boxer and certain DCC endorsed local candidates. The script is short and easy. We are only calling Dems. We did to get this done ASAP as the Absentee Voter Ballots are already mailed or being mailed now. We need to reach these voters before they fill out their ballots and mail them in. We are doing this phone banking Monday to Friday from 5:30 pm to 8 pm, Sat. 10 am to 8 pm and Sun. 12 noon to 8 pm. We currently have more phones than we have volunteers. If you can spare a couple of hours, please come down to the office at 1017 J Street. And get your friends, neighbors, co-workers and family to come down as well!

The parking is free after 6 pm and on Sat. you can park for free in the City Parking Garage between 10 and 11th by just going in the exit gates (they do not have attendants on Sat.) Sunday parking is free on the streets.

And please please make time available for our GOTV efforts (that's Get Out The Vote) the Sat., Sun, and Monday before Nov. 2nd. Joan Beach has gotten us nearly 40 phone lines and we need to have each phone staffed every day, reminding Dems to get to the polls!!!!

Any questions, call the office at 446-3794 or email CatalanoSM@aol.com
