We are encouraging everyone to wear a white shirt to show solidarity (we figured almost everyone has a white shirt). However, if you were fortunate enough to get a red SiCKO scrub from CNA, you should wear that one.

Great news on tickets. I can get tickets for $5.50 each since we are going as a group. The adult tickets are regularly $8.50 (or $9.50 if you buy them online). Senior and children's prices are regularly $5.50 ($6.50 if you buy them online).

If you want me to purchase discounted tickets for you, but have not yet requested them, please do so ASAP.

Also, later this week we will be asking for volunteers to pass out Universal Healthcare flyers at various SiCKO screenings in the Sacramento area over the next two weekends. If you are interested in helping out, please let us know.

Join fellow Sacramento for Democracy members as we gather for an opening night screening of Michael Moore's "SiCKO" at the historic Tower Theatre on Fri. June 29th.

Michael Moore has once again created a film that may open the eyes of millions of Americans. The question is, will our elected representatives "see the light"?

We haven't gotten the exact start time of the film yet, but we will go to the one closest to 8 pm. We'll update the start time as soon as we get it and let you know how to purchase tickets.

If you'd like, after the film you can help us hand out flyers describing how we can contact our representatives to push for single-payer, universal healthcare for ALL Americans. Maybe we can do some voter registration as well (just like we did for Fahrenheit 9/11).
