You're invited to meet Wayne Pacelle, the charismatic President of the Humane Society of the United States*, and learn why he supports Dr. Bill Durston as a candidate for Congress who will work toward a healthier future for all living species on our planet.

The Program: In addition to speaking about why he supports Bill, Mr. Pacelle will talk about his work around the world in protecting animals, including his rescue efforts in Indonesia following the 2004 tsunami. Bill will speak about the parallels between protecting animals and protecting the more vulnerable members of our own species, the growing threats to all living species on our planet, and how we can work together to curb that threat.

The event will also include a vegetarian dinner and live jazz music by the Blues Organization. As with all Durston for Congress events, children are welcome, and activities for children will be provided.

A contribution of $25 per adult will cover the cost of the event. A minimum contribution of $50 per adult to the Durston for Congress campaign is suggested to help get Bill elected. Larger contributions, of course, would be appreciated. (Contributions to Durston for Congress are not tax-deductible.)
