Defend Social Security from Dan Lungren!!

We just found out that Dan Lungren will be in Elk Grove TONIGHT at 7:00 PM 8400 Laguna Palms Way at the E.G Community Center. They are having a "Town Hall" forum and they are expecting the news media to be there. We need to show a presence to counter the Repressive Radical Right that will be there to destroy Social Security.

Please help us PRESERVE Social Security !!

Good support for SS

It was nice to see that there was a good progressive turnout tonight. I'd say that it was about 60 / 40 progressives vs. regressives. Dan was under attack for a good portion of the time, but he's a slick professional and was able to get out of most of the situations. When referring to Social Security, he repeatedly said that he has not proposed anything yet and neither has the President. Who is he trying to fool? He said he was just there to "find out what views we had".

Perhaps this whole "privatization" plan was created by the "liberal media".
