We need YOU to help us welcome delegates and collect their signatures at the Convention Center.

We will be asking delegates to pledge their support for language calling for a Withdrawal from Iraq, language which the Progressive Caucus wishes to see included in the 2006 Platform for the CA Democratic Party.

We need a MINIMUM of 300 delegate signatures to be able to take our proposal to the floor of the General Assembly for consideration on the last day of the Convention. Our goal is 1,000 signatures!

The main drive will be on Saturday morning from 6:45am - 9:00am outside the main doors of the Convention Center and is an informational vigil called "Democrats for Peace and Justice Welcome the Delegates." We will be serving coffee, orange juice, bagels and other goodies to delegates as they arrive. WE NEED at LEAST 20 people to help us with this critical signature collection drive.
